Shucks!

It's been quite some time since we've posted here. We've been busy. There's been a lot of landscaping going down.

Happily, today another satisfied customer shared Rooted praise on a public Facebook group for their town!

"Shout out to Kevin Price and Rooted Landscaping for their amazing work, professionalism and friendliness! They really care about their work and the environment and use only organic mulch and fertilizers.
Hit them up, you won't be sorry."

And then a few more happy customers replied!

Kevin/Rooted did such amazing work for us at our old house on Park Ave., and they're helping us transform what's going on at the Yogawood building little by little. They got all of the ivy off the building (it eats the cinder block! it's really hard to remove!) and took out the evil sticker bushes for us. Once we get the building painted, they'll help us make it pretty!

This hard work feels worthwhile when we receive this type of feedback. Our goal has always been and remains content customers and healthy landscapes. Thanks, guys!

Growing with our community: Progress on the Chen project

We're so happy to grow with clients. A few years ago, a client & friend purchased this fantastic house. The facade, with those big blonde brick walls, offers so many opportunities! We began with a crepe myrtle to train and as a nod to the owner's southern roots.

Later, the owner requested a trellis. Last year, the trellis was photo'd below.

This season, the vines are climbing and bulbs in bloom.

A previous owner's dog kennel has been creatively converted into an outdoor patio space. The twining vine is wisteria getting ready to take over the top of the structure!

And hellebores to brighten the day. A note from our client:

"The new plantings are beautiful!!! I was so excited to see them all and am really stoked about the beautyberry and new forsythia bed. I also think you put the rhododendron in the perfect spot on the side yard under the living room windows.

All the plants are coming along so great, and they really add so much to making the house and yard beautiful. Thank you, Kevin! :) I'm so glad to have you as a landscaper!"

We're so glad to have each of you!

Love Fest

Any encounter with the Bonfillas leaves us smiling.  Performing their spring clean-up is no exception.  Kevin went over this week to trim, weed, mulch & generally beautify the Bonfilla's property for the warmer months.  Rooted Landscaping co-created this design.  I really love it.  Skip laurels make such a sweet screen & their long white flowers pop against the white porch.  This is one of my favorite uses of heuchera, that purple plant in the foreground.  The color is dramatized against the skips & picks up some accent paint of the trim on the house.  Lots of style-- like the Bonfillas themselves.

Yesterday we received the following emails from them:

From Brett:

Kevin,

Thanks for making our yard look so incredibly good.  And for leaving the flowers for Beth.

Your work makes a huge difference in the quality of our lives.  Yard care is something Beth and I both avoid doing, and it's also something that stresses us out.  It's incredibly freeing not to have that stress, and totally exhilarating each time we come home to see our house looking so good.

Thanks again,

Brett

From Beth:

yeah yeah yeah!!!!!  we love when you take care of our yard!!!

From Rooted Landscaping:

Aw shucks.  Left us grinning again!
